SEGA DREAMCAST DC BOX Compatible with RGBS, RGBHV I’ve had this one professionally modified to output 15 khz and 31 khz! Simply flip the switch and off we go! The both signals are carried through a VGA cable or Dsub15 connector, 15 khz is typically stems from RGB SCART cables while VGA is 31 khz however this box let’s you do both signals through one cable! No idea if the S-Video/compsote, RCA portion was disabled to compensate for the 15 khz RGB signal. Now to address the elephant in the room, the input that goes into the Dreamcast has malfunctioned. It fits a PAL Dreamcast I think, but can’t fit an NTSC one. It won’t even plug into a US or Japanese DC if you try to force it. Good news is that the problem is a VERY easy fix for someone with a modicum of soldering experience. You simply remove the input connector and solder in a new one! Another way to tackle this is maybe open the housing for the connector and replace the pins? I’m no tech expert but even I can clearly see what’s wrong. Moreover, one of the toggles broke too. You can use this item for modding for your own personal pet project, in any case, have fun with it! VGA + RGB modded DC Box No refunds, buy at own risk. Ships via USPS or UPS
